Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree required
- 3+ years of experience in supporting, monitoring, configuring, and implementing enterprise networks
- Proficient in routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and network protocols including IPv4, IPv6, NAT, Multicast, Spanning Tree, and QoS
- Experience with routing and switching hardware platforms
- Knowledge of Software Defined Networks like Cisco ACI Leaf and Spine Architecture
- Ability to communicate effectively with users, technical teams, and management to gather requirements and translate them into high-quality designs
Preferred:
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience
- Relevant industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE R&S, CCIE Datacenter, CCDE, CISSP, or AWS Networking Specialist
- Familiarity with network automation platforms like Ansible or Python
- Background in Data Center network design and engineering
- Exposure to cloud integrations (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
- Experience with Software Defined Wide Area Networks (SDWAN)
- Knowledge of wireless technologies and optimization configurations
- Experience using AI for analysis and operational improvement
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Global Network Infrastructures following industry best practices
- Participate in the automation of various network hardware components including Cisco, F5, and Palo Alto
- Engage in resolving complex production-related technical issues, ensuring service restoration and performing root cause analysis
- Collaborate with Business Information Security Officers on protocol risk assessments
- Oversee the technical execution of large and intricate Network Programs
- Prepare documentation and capacity plans to support network strategies
- Present technical briefings and Solution Design sessions to stakeholders at all levels
- Research and assess hardware/software, security, and networking products
- Advise management on infrastructure solution options, risks, costs, and benefits
- Create and document standards for network infrastructure and security policies
- Work with outsourced vendors to ensure sound architecture and engineering designs
- Participate in on-call rotations as part of the engineering team and act as a primary contact for any service incidents
