Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of 8 years experience as a Data Consultant, Data Analyst, or Business Intelligence expert in a dynamic environment.
- Proficient in Tableau with advanced skills in dashboard design, optimization, and executive-level data storytelling.
- Proven capability to swiftly deliver insights that influence decision-making through data analysis.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as GCP (BigQuery) and BI tools including Tableau and Looker.
- Experience in applying AI-driven analytics and automation to enhance the speed and scalability of insights in daily tasks.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Capacity to work autonomously, handle multiple tasks, and excel in uncertain situations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the creation and implementation of executive-ready Tableau dashboards and analytical reports, emphasizing clarity and performance.
- Transform vague business queries into organized analyses and actionable insights within short time frames.
- Serve as a reliable data partner to senior sales and marketing personnel, aiding in critical and time-sensitive decision-making processes.
- Lead interactive sessions and dialogues with both technical and non-technical groups to define problems and steer decisions.
- Incorporate AI and automation in routine analytics tasks using platforms such as GCP, Tableau, and Looker to boost efficiency.
- Conduct in-depth and on-demand analyses concerning sales, performance, and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with data analytics teams to maintain data accuracy, consistency, and scalability.

We are the Direct-To-Consumer (D2C) Data & Reporting team at TELUS, dedicated to empowering our sales and marketing teams with essential data, tools, and insights to enhance customer experiences and meet business objectives. By working in partnership with various departments including sales, marketing, data analytics, and external vendors, we strive to deliver impactful, scalable solutions for a rapidly changing sales channel. We offer a remote work environment and a full-time, fixed-term contract for six months, with competitive compensation ranging from $64,684.01 to $137,149.52 per year.
