Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience in computer systems.
- 3-4 years of progressively responsible experience supporting Windows operating system platforms and endpoints, including scripting, application packaging, and automated software installation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Windows Defender Firewall, and BitLocker disk encryption.
- Strong problem-solving skills, project management capabilities, and excellent organizational abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Availability to support during evenings and weekends if required.
- Capacity to thrive in a high-pressure environment.
- (Desired) Microsoft Certification (MCP) in multiple domains of expertise.
- (Desired) Previous experience in a law firm, supporting legal applications and technologies.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware for end-user computing devices.
- Oversee and execute complex systems integration and support projects.
- Collect, define, and implement requirements for new systems and enhancements, providing recommendations and documentation.
- Develop detailed specifications for custom databases and applications, focusing on security and output requirements.
- Review and implement Microsoft security updates and manage installations of various security applications.
- Conduct audits of hardware and software on workstations to ensure compliance with standards and security policies.
- Assist in the preparation and modification of software installation packages, performing upgrades through specific tools.
- Engage in the planning and execution of PC management, ensuring efficient software deployment and user environment management.
- Collaborate in project planning, execution, and support for systems integration initiatives, including vendor management.
- Maintain a comprehensive configuration database with documentation for hardware and software standards.
