- 5+ years of practical Workday configuration experience - 3+ years of ownership in Workday system administration - Workday HCM Certification(s) in one or more HCM modules - In-depth understanding of condition rules, calculated fields, security groups, and reporting frameworks - Proven experience managing annual HR cycles such as performance reviews, merit increases, bonuses, and open enrollment - Excellent skills in cross-departmental collaboration with HR, IT, business leadership, and vendors - Proficient in advanced Excel and analytical tasks - Ability to manage intricate integrations independently

- Oversee and configure Workday Benefits plans, covering medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA/HSA, and elective benefits - Manage the entire open enrollment process, including: 1. Event setup and validation 2. Enrollment and eligibility rules 3. Support for employee communications 4. Post-open enrollment troubleshooting and cleanup - Establish and uphold eligibility rules, benefit groups, plan years, coverage tiers, and contribution strategies - Assist with life events, enrollment alterations, retroactive changes, and corrections - Collaborate with vendors and internal teams on: 1. COBRA administration 2. Integrations with carriers and benefits 3. Resolution of issues and data reconciliation - Configure and assist with Workday HCM business processes - Support the execution of annual HR cycles, including: 1. Performance assessments 2. Merit and bonus cycles 3. Compensation modifications - Maintain business process frameworks, condition rules, calculated fields, validations, and alerts - Conduct independent Workday configuration for Benefits, Core HCM, and Recruiting - Create and maintain Workday reports and dashboards - Manage security roles and domains pertinent to benefits and HR functions - Resolve configuration and data issues with minimal guidance - Aid in benefits-related integrations, encompassing vendor and carrier feeds - Participate in the testing, troubleshooting, and verification of integrations in both directions - Work closely with IT, vendors, and HR Centers of Excellence to ensure data integrity and system reliability

We are searching for a skilled, hands-on Workday HRIS professional with extensive expertise in Workday Benefits. This role is not for a manager or solely a strategic leader; instead, we need someone who is technically strong and can navigate between HR strategy and technical setup. The individual will take charge of Workday Benefits configuration, assist with open enrollment, ongoing benefits administration, and vendor integrations while also contributing to our core HCM and Recruiting modules. This permanent position is located in Minneapolis, MN. We offer a competitive salary ranging from $136,000 to $154,000 per year, along with benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance for eligible employees, a 30% discount on food and beverages, and a weekly allowance of coffee or tea.
