Requirements
Must:
- Strong visual UI craft and meticulous attention to detail, showcased through portfolio work
- 3-5 years of experience in designing native mobile applications (iOS and Android)
- Ability to interpret UX guidance and product concepts into high-quality, polished UI designs
- Comprehensive understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, color, spacing, and layout in mobile design
- Advanced expertise in Figma, including components, auto layout, variants, and libraries
- Familiarity with enterprise-scale design systems and component libraries
- Strong collaborative abilities with product managers and engineering partners
- Skilled in producing ready-for-development interface designs suitable for handoff
Responsibilities
- Create high-fidelity UI designs for new features and enhancements within a native mobile application
- Convert product requirements, user flows, and low-fidelity wireframes into appealing and refined interface designs
- Enhance visual hierarchy, layout, typography, color, and interaction patterns to influence user behavior
- Develop interactive prototypes to effectively communicate workflows, interaction behaviors, and product logic
- Design attentive loading states, progress indicators, and micro-interactions to boost perceived performance and engagement
- Work within and advance an established mobile design system for consistency and scalability
- Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure accurate and high-quality implementation of designs
- Manage multiple projects concurrently while upholding high standards for UI quality and craftsmanship

We are TEKsystems, strategically positioned in New York City, seeking a UI-focused Product Designer for a hybrid role. This position requires in-office collaboration several days each week. We are looking for a passionate designer to contribute to enhancing critical user experiences within our widely used mobile application. The pay range is competitive at $45.00 - $55.00/hr, accompanied by a range of benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a 401(k) plan.
