Requirements
Must:
- Strong understanding of network and infrastructure elements, including WAN, LAN, and VPNs
- Proficiency in equipment documentation and validation, including identifying and communicating IT equipment orders
- Excellent communication skills, capable of managing project progress and informing management about new site setups
- Experience with PACS, RIS, and workstation deployments
- Demonstrated expertise in IT implementation leadership, ensuring successful adherence to project timelines and budgets
- Ability to oversee IT implementation schedules along with resource allocation
- Experience acting as the primary point of contact for construction project management teams
- Skill in defining site-specific technical requirements aligned with infrastructure standards
- Ability to coordinate low-voltage and IT setups effectively with vendors
- A strong grasp of risk and escalation management to ensure project success
- Flexibility to provide on-site support and technical assistance during critical implementation phases
- Understanding of post-implementation processes to ensure smooth transitions to ongoing support
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a team of engineers to launch multiple sites across the United States
- Travel to new site locations to assist with technology setups, including wireless access points, servers, and cabling
- Act as the main liaison for IT requirements to align with construction timelines
- Document and communicate specific technical requirements for each site
- Manage the ordering process for IT equipment, ensuring all orders are accurate
- Conduct virtual and on-site assessments of IT infrastructure readiness before go-live
- Provide hands-on support during critical implementation phases, including initial troubleshooting
- Track and manage project budgets, timelines, and roadblocks to facilitate effective site launches
- Ensure IT operations transition smoothly to the support team following project completion
