Requirements
Must:
- 12+ years of recent comprehensive TMS implementation experience, emphasizing supply chain planning and solution architecture.
- 5+ years leading cross-functional teams and enterprise-level projects.
- Strong business insight with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and guide decision-making.
- Proven data literacy, including comprehension of business case scenarios, data origins, and analytical methods.
- Excellent prioritization, problem-solving, communication, and project management competencies.
- Demonstrated capability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment with high accuracy and accountability.
- Deep, hands-on knowledge of SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM).
- Experience with additional platforms such as Motive, Mastery, or SAP LeanIX is preferred.
- Familiarity with Tratics, Telegraph, Kaleris, or similar visibility application providers is advantageous.
- Solid expertise in SAP Integration, especially connecting SAP S/4HANA with third-party systems using SAP BTP-CPI (Cloud Integration).
- Expert-level knowledge of SAP TMs integration with core enterprise modules, including SAP Sales & Distribution and SAP Materials Management.
- Proven experience in transportation management within Agriculture or Oil & Gas sectors. International proficiency, especially regarding Brazils localization requirements, is a plus.
- Demonstrated capacity to architect solutions for both high-volume commodities and retail distribution, with an understanding of unique planning and execution necessities in Agriculture and Oil & Gas.
- Expertise in hybrid agile methodologies, integration architecture, and modern technological transformation practices.
- Profound understanding of modal transportation requirements across Rail, Truck, Barge, Vessel, and Container operations.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in business, computer science, supply chain management, or a related discipline is required.
- An Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design and oversee transportation capabilities covering planning, execution, and settlement to ensure seamless operations and business coherence.
- Advocate for the effective use of data and analytics to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Generate precise architectural deliverables, including system landscapes, integration flows, and process documentation.
- Take charge of integration architecture for transportation mechanisms (APIs/events/EDI), including error management and monitoring/alerts with external stakeholders.
- Establish technical guidelines that promote consistency and long-term sustainability in solutions.
- Act as a subject matter expert in multi-modal transportation, exhibiting a strong understanding of Rail, Truck, Barge, Vessel, and Container operations.
- Provide strategic recommendations to enhance operational efficiency, minimize risk, and advance transportation initiatives.
- Collaborate with business and technology leaders to ensure solution designs align with the overall enterprise strategy.
- Deliver architectural leadership across various projects to guarantee scalable and effectively integrated solutions.
- Lead collaborative sessions to address transportation challenges and translate them into scalable solution designs while prioritizing task backlogs.
- Partner with transportation teams to set up data architecture and governance protocols for transportation data to enhance data quality and mitigate execution/settlement errors.
- Develop onboarding and interface specifications with carriers and visibility partners to ensure reliable integration and data contracts.

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Management Solution (TMS) Architect to spearhead the development and delivery of integrated transportation capabilities within our organization. This fully remote position will involve quarterly travel to Inver Grove Heights, MN.
