Requirements
Must:
- Knowledge of debit and credit issuer processing
- Experience with API messages
- Proficiency in Data Mapping
- Strong technical design and analytical capabilities
- Ability to manage complex projects across multiple development platforms and engineering teams
- Capacity to handle multiple tasks concurrently
- Exceptional writing abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Expertise in ISO8583 message specification
- Familiarity with EFT transaction messaging, switching, and routing
- Understanding of high-speed transaction processing challenges
- Knowledge of ATM messaging, fraud strategies, and dispute processing
- Experience in core banking and/or core credit union domains
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to collect system requirements
- Define product system and functional requirements
- Draft business requirements and functional specifications
- Participate in business process re-design initiatives
- Aid customers in identifying system enhancements for improved process flow
- Execute application, system, and regression testing as needed
- Create business requirements and system documentation
- Contribute to end-user and project management documentation
- Collaborate with quality assurance and programming teams for successful production deployment
- Communicate business requirements to technical teams
- Collaborate with industry research groups on product trends
- Mentor junior colleagues as necessary
- Undertake additional duties as assigned
Description
We are excited to welcome a Technical Business Analyst to our Card Processing Solutions team based in Kansas City, MO. This is a fully remote contract position with a pay range of $60.00 - $70.00 per hour. We provide an array of services including ATM terminal management, fraud solutions, card management, and award programs, connecting our financial institution clients to diverse networks for seamless transaction processing.
