Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in Audio-Visual systems design and engineering
- Proficiency in programming and scripting
- Strong grasp of AV signal flow, networking, and system integration
- Familiarity with Audio-Visual technologies
- Competence in coding languages including Python, HTML, Lua, and CSS (including advanced/variable-based implementations)
- 5-10+ years of relevant experience in AV system design, engineering, and programming
- Extensive knowledge of AV technologies and infrastructures in multi-campus settings
- Background in designing and supporting enterprise-scale AV solutions
- Excellent communication skills for explaining technical concepts to varied audiences
- Practical programming experience using Lua, Python, HTML, and advanced CSS
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients, business partners, and internal teams to gather requirements and assess functional needs
- Conduct detailed needs assessments to guide AV system design
- Create comprehensive AV solutions ensuring reliability, scalability, and compliance with standards
- Produce thorough technical documentation including system drawings, layouts, and specifications
- Develop and manage AV programming elements such as code modules and touch panel designs
- Work alongside cross-functional teams, including IT and installation teams, to ensure effective implementations
- Execute testing and quality assurance to confirm system performance before deployment
- Diagnose and rectifiy AV system issues during design, testing, and post-implementation phases
- Present and clarify AV designs to both technical and non-technical audiences, integrating feedback when necessary
- Ensure all designs meet organizational standards, best practices, and applicable regulations
