Requirements
Must:
- 12+ years of recent end-to-end TMS implementation experience in supply chain planning and solution architecture.
- 5+ years of experience in leading cross-functional teams and enterprise-level initiatives.
- Strong business acumen to influence senior stakeholders and guide decision-making.
- Demonstrated data literacy, including understanding of business use cases, data sources, and analytical approaches.
- Excellent prioritization, problem-solving, communication, and project leadership skills.
- Proven ability to perform in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with high accuracy and accountability.
- Deep, hands-on experience with SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM).
- Experience with Motive, Mastery, or SAP LeanIX is preferred.
- Familiarity with Tratics, Telegraph, Kaleris, or Fourkites is a plus.
- Solid background in SAP Integration using SAP BTP-CPI (Cloud Integration), especially connecting SAP S/4HANA with third-party systems.
- Expert-level knowledge of SAP TM integration with core enterprise modules like SAP Sales & Distribution, SAP Materials Management, and SAP Commodity Management.
- Proven track record in supporting transportation functions in Agriculture and/or Oil & Gas sectors.
- Experience in architecting solutions for both Bulk Wholesale Shipments and Retail Distribution, with an understanding of their distinct planning requirements.
- Expertise in hybrid agile delivery methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Design and govern integrated transportation capabilities across planning, execution, and settlement to ensure operational continuity and business alignment.
- Advocate the utilization of data and analytics to enhance decision-making.
- Create precise architectural deliverables, such as system landscapes, integration flows, and process documentation.
- Manage integration architecture for transportation, including APIs, events, EDI, error handling, and monitoring alerts across technologies and external partners.
- Establish technical standards for consistency and long-term sustainability.
- Act as a subject matter authority in multi-modal transportation, including operations related to Rail, Truck, Barge, Vessel, and Container.
- Provide strategic insights to boost efficiency, mitigate risk, and further enterprise transportation goals.
- Work closely with business and technology leaders to align solution designs with the overall enterprise roadmap.
- Execute architectural leadership on various initiatives to ensure solutions are scalable and integrate effectively.
- Lead architectural sessions to transform transportation challenges into scalable solution designs and prioritize task backlogs.
- Collaborate with transportation teams to define transportation data architecture and governance, improving data quality and minimizing execution errors.
- Establish technical onboarding specifications with carriers and visibility providers to ensure seamless integrations.
