Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field
- 0-2 years of experience; entry level candidates are encouraged to apply
- Basic understanding of software testing principles and methodologies
- Strong attention to detail, documentation, and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Openness to learning and adapting within a regulated environment
- Python coursework or 1-2 years of practical experience is a plus
- Familiarity with medical device or regulated software settings is desirable
Responsibilities
- Develop, write, execute, and document manual software test cases according to our internal protocols and FDA/ISO standards
- Evaluate system and software requirements to create effective testing strategies and test suites
- Conduct dry runs and formal Verification & Validation (V&V) activities
- Identify, record, track, and assist in resolving software defects
- Set up and maintain testing equipment and environments, including mapping systems, monitors, amplifiers, and RF generators
- Participate in reviews of requirements, design, and testing to ensure traceability and quality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, systems, and quality assurance

We are a global medical device organization seeking a Software Verification Engineer I to join our Software Verification team supporting a real-time cardiac mapping and ablation system. This position is an excellent opportunity for individuals starting out in their careers, offering hands-on experience in medical device software verification.
