Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with 2+ years of relevant experience; OR an advanced degree with 1+ year of experience; OR 7+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including planning, designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining software applications
- 2+ years of experience developing Java enterprise applications
- Exceptional verbal communication skills
- Strong writing skills and technical documentation abilities
- Hands-on experience with one or more enterprise messaging platforms such as IBM MQ Series, Java Message Service (JMS), RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, or similar
Responsibilities
- Design and implement essential features within proprietary software to facilitate the global transmission of millions of messages
- Assist in upgrading proprietary software to a more recent version of OpenJDK
- Contribute to the rapid development of DevSecOps pipelines for automated builds and testing in CI/CD settings
- Collaborate closely with Technical Leads, Architects, and other Software Engineers to support critical projects and market expansion opportunities
