Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Over 10 years of experience with SAP, possessing in-depth knowledge of the SAP FICO module, including configuration, data management, enhancement options, and financial reporting.
- Experience with S/4 HANA, specifically in relation to Material Ledger.
- Expert understanding of the integration between SAP components and third-party applications.
- Strong skills in data analysis with a focus on financial and accounting data utilization.
- Proven ability to engage and influence senior management and key stakeholders.
- Experience as a collaborative team player who effectively meets deadlines while fostering a positive work culture.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Good planning and project management skills are preferred.
- Background in working with diverse businesses or international subsidiaries on transformational initiatives.
- Basic familiarity with AI and Low-Code platforms is advantageous.
- Minimal travel (around 10%) may be required.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and document business processes and related SAP system design for finance and accounting, particularly focusing on FICO, Financial Reporting, and other financial systems.
- Facilitate complex discussions around business requirements, collecting, analyzing, and documenting these needs to generate functional specifications. Implement SAP Best Practices.
- Take part in project and design reviews to confirm compliance with established design policies, principles, and standards.
- Drive changes and improvements through the change management process, coordinating project management activities, stakeholder communication, user functional testing, and user acceptance testing, as well as cutover tasks and ongoing support.
- Assist in project assessments and initiation by clearly defining scope, risks, and estimates.
- Collaborate with the Business Leadership team for Finance and Accounting, ensuring alignment with the technology roadmap.
- Oversee the design and configuration responsibilities assigned to you as a subject matter expert.
- Work collaboratively across functional teams to ensure seamless integration that meets operational, quality, and performance objectives.
- Lead resolution of issues in SAP, including conducting diagnostics and addressing technical integration and performance challenges.
