Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in Palo Alto SD-WAN and Firewall configuration and deployment.
- Expertise in Panorama for centralized management, including template and policy creation.
- Hands-on experience with migrating from SonicWall to Palo Alto, translating rules, VPNs, and NAT configurations.
- Proficient in Aruba switching including VLANs, LACP, PoE, stacking, and firewall integration.
- Familiarity with Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP) for remote and large-scale deployment of new devices.
- Strong understanding of routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, static routing, and IPSec tunnels.
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform is a plus.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining technical concepts clearly.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines without detailed guides.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and migrate enterprise network infrastructure using Palo Alto Networks and Aruba technologies.
- Configure, document, and troubleshoot within a distributed enterprise environment.
- Conduct quarterly visits to the Indianapolis Data Center as needed.
- Create and manage device groups, templates, and shared policies in Panorama.
- Execute Zero Touch Provisioning for the efficient setup of devices.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth transitions during migrations.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive network diagrams and documentation of the system.
