Requirements
Must:
- Extensive experience in IT operations management
- Expertise in ITIL practices such as Asset Management, Change, Incident, Problem, Service Continuity, and Disaster Recovery
- Proven ability to drive process improvements and optimize performance
- Strong stakeholder management skills, able to partner with diverse teams
- Excellent communication skills, adept at conveying technical information clearly
- Strong follow-through with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Demonstrated managerial courage and willingness to advocate for team interests
Responsibilities
- Oversee enterprise IT operations as a senior leader
- Govern core ITIL practices to ensure operational integrity
- Propel operational excellence through continuous process improvements
- Serve as a key escalation point for significant operational challenges
- Collaborate with clinical and technical stakeholders for reliable operations
- Work with ITSM and infrastructure teams to ensure disaster recovery readiness
- Communicate effectively with executives and provide incident updates
- Influence the development of policies and standards within IT operations
- Lead a mid-to-large team, fostering a culture of high performance
- Set clear goals and development paths for team members
- Manage budgeting and track expenditures aligned with operational goals
- Ensure around-the-clock service availability and participate in on-call rotations
Description
We are looking for a senior IT operations leader to manage enterprise service management, operational stability, and business continuity in a dynamic 24/7 environment. This is a Contract to Hire role located in Rochester, NY, with a competitive pay range of $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
