Requirements
Must:
- Eligible to work on W2
- Masters degree in computer science, statistics, economics, or related fields
- 3 years of experience or a PhD in a relevant discipline
- Up-to-date knowledge of machine learning and data analytics tools and techniques
- Strong proficiency in predictive modeling methodologies
- Experience with both structured and unstructured data sources
- Willingness to learn new technologies on the job
- Excellent communication skills for conveying complex results to diverse audiences
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and in teams
- Strategic and intellectually curious mindset focused on outcomes
- Professional demeanor with strong relationship-building skills
- Proficient in R/RStudio, Python, SAS, SQL, NoSQL
- Familiar with Cloud Machine Learning technologies (e.g., AWS Sagemaker)
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, scikit-learn, caret)
- Strong grasp of statistical methods, including Bayesian networks, regressions, and multi-level modeling
- Background in financial services is preferred
- Hands-on experience in machine learning, cloud computing, and big data analysis tools and techniques
Responsibilities
- Execute advanced analytical techniques to derive value from business data
- Conduct large-scale experiments and develop data-driven models to address business inquiries
- Research and apply cutting-edge methods in machine learning, deep learning, and AI
- Identify requirements for training and refining deep learning models and algorithms
- Develop a vision and roadmap for leveraging data as a key corporate asset
- Influence product teams by presenting data-driven recommendations
- Advocate for best practices within analytics and product teams
- Manage the comprehensive model development process from business requirement identification to model deployment and scoring

This role is based in Columbus, OH, and offers a contract-to-hire arrangement.
