Requirements
Must:
- Proficiency in SQL and database administration
- Experience with ETL processes and tools such as Azure Data Factory
- Strong skills in database development, including the creation of stored procedures, functions, and other database objects
- Ability to collaborate effectively with application development teams
- Excellent communication skills for conveying complex issues to technical team members
- Understanding of data governance and maintenance practices
- Familiarity with Snowflake and data pipeline development using DBT + Azure Data Factory
Responsibilities
- Design, create, and maintain data pipelines along with ETL/ELT processes
- Build and enhance stored procedures, functions, and SQL queries to support API calls and real-time operations
- Work closely with web and application developers to establish and deliver effective database interfaces according to business needs
- Implement secure, scalable, and sustainable data solutions within Azure and hybrid environments
- Ensure data accuracy, optimize performance, and maintain consistency across different environments
- Provide logging, monitoring, and issue resolution for database performance problems
- Drive the development and testing of technical solutions in support of organizational goals alongside cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop project plans and refine data requirements
- Support business operations by overseeing and troubleshooting existing ETL and database processes
- Execute data cleansing tasks, including the removal of duplicates and standardizing data
