Requirements
Must:
- Over 10 years of experience in SQL Server development
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory
- In-depth knowledge of T-SQL and performance enhancement techniques
- Proven track record of building reliable and scalable Azure Data Factory pipelines
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT methodologies
- Extensive experience with Azure cloud services and data storage solutions
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with Azure Synapse Analytics
- Exposure to regulated sectors such as healthcare or finance
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and refine SQL Server databases and stored procedures
- Build and manage production-grade Azure Data Factory pipelines
- Implement efficient ETL/ELT workflows along with contemporary data integration practices
- Utilize Azure cloud services, Azure SQL, and associated storage technologies
- Identify and resolve performance issues, applying advanced T-SQL optimization methods
- Support initiatives in analytics and reporting, notably integrating Power BI
- Collaborate across teams, working alongside engineering, product and business units
- Contribute to cloud-first modernization projects within Azure
- Operate within a dynamic, cooperative environment with significant executive visibility
