Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Over 3 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in a Data Warehouse setting
- More than 3 years of proficiency in SQL for generating ad-hoc queries and data analysis
- Preferably over 2 years in the financial services sector (banking)
- At least 2 years of experience with Snowflake and AWS S3
- More than 2 years of experience in data modeling using Erwin or similar tools
- Familiarity with enterprise data warehousing best practices and standards for over 2 years
- Experience in data mapping and creating source-to-target mappings for over 2 years
- Highly motivated with exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Capability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience leading other Business Systems Analysts within a project team
Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison and a knowledge resource for stakeholders, product owners, and team members
- Collaborate within an Agile environment to transform requirements into effective Features and User Stories
- Partner with the Agile team, Product Owner, and business stakeholders to gather and document requirements, including source-to-target data mappings
- Work closely with the Product Owner and subject matter experts to refine Epics that lead to the creation of Features and User Stories
- Conduct backlog refinement sessions to enhance user story details, set acceptance criteria, and assign story points with team members, ensuring user stories are ready for prioritization
- Engage in identifying, quantifying, and mitigating project risks and issues
- Collaborate with Application Business Systems Analysts to identify and escalate barriers that impact the completion of requirements to the Scrum Master

This position is a Contract to Hire opportunity where you will help us develop solutions that enable our business to utilize data as a valuable asset.
