Security Engineer - Cybersecurity Focus

- Design and execute enterprise-wide logging and security data solutions - Identify performance or configuration challenges and develop resolution plans - Create cost-control strategies related to logging, ingestion, licensing, and data storage - Collaborate on platform roadmaps and lifecycle strategies - Architect and manage scalable pipelines for ingesting, parsing, and normalizing telemetry from various sources including cloud, endpoint, network, and identity platforms - Establish data retention, archiving, and tiering strategies to ensure compliance and cost efficiency - Build dashboards and alerts to monitor latency, throughput, and data integrity - Ensure dependable data delivery with zero data loss - Provide advanced troubleshooting for intricate cybersecurity issues - Partner with Incident Response and Detection Engineering teams to verify accurate data delivery - Contribute to proactive security enhancements across host, network, and cloud tools - Address escalated security incidents - Lead documentation efforts and process improvement initiatives - Mentor and guide junior colleagues - Oversee and complete assigned cybersecurity projects - Develop and enforce standards in line with security policies - Perform other duties as required
