Requirements
Must:
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
- Bachelors degree with 8-12 years of relevant experience or Masters degree with 6-10 years of relevant experience (specific education may be considered in lieu of degree)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for change management and updates
- Experience with OSI Model Layers 1-4
- Familiarity with SecureCRT, STIGViewer, and Evaluate STIG
- IAT Level II certification compliant with DoD 8570 (Security+ CE preferred)
- Relevant certifications (Cisco Certified Network Associate, F5 Certified Administrator, Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator)
Responsibilities
- Assess various components of the network and provide specifications for network architecture
- Evaluate existing network capabilities and conduct needs assessments
- Monitor, modify, and evaluate network equipment
- Manage internal projects focusing on time-sensitive initiatives and ITIL service areas (problem management, incident management, service requests, etc.)
- Ensure successful operations evaluations, change management, and adherence to SLAs
- Improve and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures in a collaborative setting
- Evaluate technologies across five networks, specifically Cisco, F5, Palo Alto, and Juniper technologies
- Deliver high-quality customer service to DTRA personnel while observing strict change control protocols
