Requirements
Must:
- Public Sector Knowledge: Familiarity with government programs such as benefits, case management, licensing, and citizen services
- Experience with State and/or Local agencies (required); familiarity with Federal agencies (preferred)
- Strong competency in process design and requirements analysis
- In-depth Salesforce proficiency: Public Sector Solutions, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, OmniStudio, APIs, LWC, Apex, integrations, security architecture, and DevOps
- Understanding of compliance frameworks: FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, CJIS, HIPAA
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
- Analytical mindset, adept problem-solving, and the ability to foster consensus
- Flexibility and initiative in dynamic public sector environments
- At least 7 years of Salesforce experience, with 3 or more years in an architect role
- A minimum of 3 years experience supporting public sector clients
- Proven history of successfully leading large, multi-system Salesforce projects
- Preferred Certifications: Salesforce Application/System Architect, Public Sector Solutions, OmniStudio Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, Marketing Cloud (optional)
Responsibilities
- Lead the comprehensive functional architecture for Salesforce Public Sector implementations including PSS, AE1, Service Cloud, Digital Front Door, and OmniStudio
- Convert government processes into secure and scalable solution designs, encompassing data models, integrations, and security frameworks
- Create architectural artifacts such as ERDs, sequence diagrams, and integration maps
- Engage in presales solution meetings, transform client needs into demonstrations, and present solution proposals
- Provide guidance to stakeholders, establish demonstrable assets, create sales enablement materials, coordinate marketing efforts, and conduct workshops
- Deliver subject matter expertise across areas like development, integrations, and data migration
