Requirements
Must:
- Proficient in automation and API testing skills
- Experience with hardware and software integration
- Skilled in developing test plans
- Familiar with Linux environment
- Strong knowledge of automated testing frameworks
- Proficient in Python programming
- Ability to work independently
- Experienced in both software and manual testing
- Familiar with Agile methodologies
- Capable of creating clear tasks and bug reports in Jira
- Adaptable and able to handle changes in daily responsibilities

Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire API testing lifecycle for a specified product
- Perform extensive automation testing on wearables and cloud-integrated AI features
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify testing requirements and develop comprehensive test plans
- Identify and document defects, ensuring clarity for resolution
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint discussions
- Maintain testing environments and ensure they are up to date
- Roll with the changes and adapt to varying priorities on a daily basis
Description
We are a dynamic team located in Palo Alto, CA, searching for a motivated QA Test Engineer specializing in API testing. This is a contract role with a pay range of $60.00 - $75.00 per hour, and eligibility for various benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) Retirement Plan.
