Requirements
Must:
- Over 5 years of relevant experience as a developer in Python and Django framework
- Strong organizational abilities and aptitude for managing multiple projects concurrently
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies
- Capability to independently research topics and find pertinent information
- Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated with a capacity to sustain momentum and handle multiple tasks
Responsibilities
- Develop robust and scalable applications using Python and the Django framework
- Design and deploy applications within the Azure environment utilizing various interconnected Azure components
- Enhance front-end applications leveraging ReactJS, HTML5, and CSS3
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks stemming from inefficient code
- Apply knowledge of user authentication and authorization across different systems, servers, and environments
- Ensure adherence to high programming standards, including unit tests and technical specifications
- Familiarity with Power BI tools is a plus
- Document key aspects of the project thoroughly
- Collaborate with team members on projects while also being capable of working independently when needed

This role will support our enterprise risk department by developing solutions for data sourcing, analytics, and reporting frameworks. The position is a contract role based in Charlotte, NC, and offers a hybrid work environment. Our compensation package includes competitive pay ranging from $70.00 to $85.00 per hour, along with benefits that may include medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.
