Requirements
Must:
- Over 7 years of experience in cybersecurity or technology architecture, focusing on secure digital product technologies
- Proficient in conducting risk and control assessments and governance reporting
- Ability to communicate cybersecurity risks and mitigation strategies effectively to development teams
- Strong knowledge of contemporary technology stacks, including cloud-native architectures and API-driven services
- Familiarity with identity and access management, secure software development, network security, and cryptography concepts
- Understanding of device-to-device, service-to-service, and consumer identity access management processes
- Knowledge of phishing-resistant authentication technologies such as WebAuthn and Passkeys
- Awareness of cybersecurity risks associated with emerging technologies, including quantum computing and AI
- Understanding of global medical device regulatory frameworks
- Proficient in security frameworks and standards like NIST, ISO/IEC 27001, PCI DSS
- Strong collaborative and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and business teams
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex information to diverse audiences
- Strong analytical skills with the capacity to handle multiple priorities
- Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Assurance, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
Responsibilities
- Create and update security guidance documentation, encompassing standards and frameworks
- Perform comprehensive architecture reviews of products and platforms, including consumer identity systems
- Execute cybersecurity threat modeling and prepare deliverables for internal and external reviews
- Establish, document, and supervise compliance with risk-based and regulatory cybersecurity requirements for specific products
- Collaborate with product designers and developers to incorporate security considerations early in the development process
- Validate the security of product software supply chains and deployment pipelines
- Formulate risk mitigation strategies and recommend fitting security controls
- Evaluate and prioritize product security risks through detailed assessments of vulnerabilities and penetration testing outcomes
- Assess the effectiveness of existing cybersecurity controls for products
- Identify and communicate key trends in cyber risks
- Ensure that risk management plans are well-documented, actionable, and reflect the organizations risk tolerance
- Monitor and guarantee product compliance with defined vulnerability remediation Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Participate in governance forums, architecture reviews, and technical discussions as a cybersecurity representative
