Must:

- Over 5 years of experience as a Development Product Owner or in a similar capacity - Extensive experience working within Agile/Scrum teams - 3-5 years of proficiency in Jira for feature/story development and backlog management - Proven skills in documenting comprehensive software requirements - Experience in test planning and execution processes - Comfortable working in environments that are regulated and compliance-focused - Over 5 years of Program or Project Management experience - Excellent communication abilities and skills in stakeholder management - Experience in the financial services sector - Familiarity with regulated or compliance-oriented environments - Experience with both Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies - Knowledge of working with Scrum teams and using Jira

Responsibilities

- Join and enhance existing Agile/Scrum teams - Break down epics into clearly defined features and user stories - Lead sessions for feature refinement and backlog management - Generate comprehensive software documentation, including: - Source-to-target mappings - Data movement and transformation logic - Integration requirements - Collaborate with QA and business teams on: - Development of test cases - User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Production Validation Testing (PVT), and readiness for production - Activities for business validation - Assist in improving AML workflows and systems - Participate in occasional out-of-hours support (1-2 times monthly) - Develop and oversee integrated project and delivery plans - Coordinate communications across business, technology, and vendor teams - Monitor dependencies, risks, milestones, and accountability - Propel the execution of enhancements to AML technology - Maintain documentation, job aids, and stakeholder communications - Deliver clear, executive-level status updates - Support validation and production release processes - Some evening hours may be necessary during production validation periods

Description

We are collaborating with a reputable financial services organization to advance a significant AML technology initiative linked to the onboarding of a new investment services platform. This project is expanding our Agile teams and enhancing integrations across core AML systems. This position offers a W2 contract with a strong likelihood of extension or conversion. We support remote work but prefer candidates situated near San Antonio or Plano, TX. Our team is committed to driving transformative solutions in a regulated environment, ensuring compliance while facilitating business growth.
