Requirements
Must:
- Proficient in Workday Financials with a focus on Accounts Payable, Accounting, and Supplier modules.
- Experienced in PeopleSoft, particularly in AP, Procurement, and Supplier Management.
- Strong accounting background with comprehensive knowledge of AP processes.
- Bachelors degree is mandatory; a Masters degree is an advantage.
- 5-7+ years of product management experience in FinTech, ERP systems, or similar domains.
- In-depth understanding of financial system architecture and ERP workflows.
- Familiar with SaaS or custom software development methodologies, and capable of mentoring junior PMs.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical information effectively.
- Knowledgeable in application deployment, testing, and support workflows.
- Skilled in requirements management and backlog management tools.
- Experience in developing product roadmaps and leveraging product analytics tools.
- Background in designing and executing user testing and research initiatives.
- Proven capability to incorporate customer and technical feedback into product enhancements.
- Experience in creating systems and processes that mitigate operational or data biases.
Responsibilities
- Convert business objectives, stakeholder requirements, and technical direction into detailed business requirements and product backlogs for intricate financial applications.
- Create and sustain a 12+ month product roadmap that aligns with the long-term financial systems strategy.
- Act as a key liaison among business teams, engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Write Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), establish acceptance criteria, and maintain high documentation standards.
- Collaborate with business teams to develop and obtain approval for business cases and investment proposals.
- Analyze business processes in the Accounts Payable and Supplier domains, identifying gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Engage in Product Increment (PI) Planning and lead product activities throughout the development lifecycle.
- Define user personas and user journeys to ensure they meet user needs and quality expectations.
- Oversee user testing, A/B testing, interviews, and surveys, translating insights into product enhancements.
- Utilize product analytics tools and performance metrics to inform data-driven decision-making.
- Track market trends, gather stakeholder feedback, and assess system performance to inspire improvements.
- Encourage teamwork and influence strategic product direction across teams.
- Manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation through development, launch, optimization, and phase-out.
- Exhibit leadership characteristics, demonstrating a strong sense of ownership and the capability to delve into intricate processes.
