Requirements
Must:
- 1-3 years of experience in Product Design, UX/UI Design, Visual Design, or a similar field
- Solid understanding of design principles including hierarchy, layout, and fundamental UX concepts
- Strong skills in UI and visual design with meticulous attention to detail
- High proficiency in Figma, including components, auto layout, and file management
- Experience contributing to complex products or systems, preferably in an enterprise context
- Ability to manage multiple tasks or projects simultaneously
- Comfortable following direction, working efficiently, and supporting larger design initiatives
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Proactive, eager to learn, and capable of quickly adapting
- Must be able to work onsite in NYC three days a week
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design of a complex internal tool utilized by marketing and review partners
- Execute UI and visual design tasks in Figma, delivering production-ready designs
- Contribute to various projects concurrently, enabling the team to work more efficiently
- Organize, update, and maintain design files to assist with design deliveries
- Update and manage components within an established design system and library
- Take charge of smaller projects such as backlog items, enhancements, or defect resolutions
- Collaborate closely with product partners and cross-functional teams
- Regularly check in with design leads or subject matter experts to ensure alignment
- Maintain consistency across experiences using component-based and system-driven methodologies
- Approach tasks with a proactive mindset in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
Description
We are seeking a Junior Product Designer to support our expanding internal enterprise platform that assists marketing teams in creating and managing offers more effectively. This hybrid role is based in New York City, requiring onsite presence three days a week. You will focus on UI and visual design execution while leveraging a strong understanding of UX principles. This is an excellent opportunity for a designer who leans toward UI and visual design, desires exposure to enterprise-scale systems, and is excited to grow by collaborating with experienced designers and product partners.
