Requirements
Must:
- Proficient in DevOps practices and methodologies
- Experience with Elastic Stack and Big Panda
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Expertise in automation tools and techniques
- Capable of implementing and maintaining AppDynamics APM instrumentation, including transaction tracing and performance analysis
- Skilled in configuring and supporting Real User Monitoring (RUM), synthetic monitoring, and database visibility
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and configuration
- Competent in building dashboards, visualizations, and telemetry ingest pipelines for various metrics
- Knowledgeable in integrating alerting systems with ITSM and Event Management platforms
- Ability to contribute to incident response and performance troubleshooting
- Experience collaborating with application and infrastructure teams to implement scalable monitoring solutions
- Effective in documenting monitoring standards and operational procedures
Responsibilities
- Support the design and implementation of monitoring solutions for enterprise platforms
- Conduct instrumentation and automation for enhanced platform performance
- Assist in troubleshooting and optimizing application reliability and efficiency
- Partner with teams to convert business requirements into effective monitoring frameworks
- Develop and maintain dashboards to visualize key metrics and performance trends
- Ensure integration of monitoring systems with alerting and ITSM platforms
- Participate in incident response to improve system reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish monitoring best practices
- Document standards, guidelines, and operational procedures for monitoring
