Requirements
Must:
- Experience in an IT or technology-related position (preferably Service Desk, Desktop Support, Mobility, or Hardware Fulfillment)
- Knowledge of Windows 11 and computer hardware
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications
- Familiarity with IT ticketing or incident management systems (such as ServiceNow, Remedy, or other ITSM tools)
- Experience with asset tracking or inventory systems like SAP
- Valid drivers license and capability to perform onsite pickups
- Associate degree in Information Technology or a similar field (preferred)
- CompTIA A+ certification (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Provide desktop and warehouse assistance for IT deployment and hardware fulfillment activities
- Manage and resolve tickets assigned through the ServiceNow ticketing system
- Fulfill hardware requests, including picking, packing, and shipping IT equipment
- Receive, check in, and accurately maintain warehouse hardware inventory
- Update SAP records for received, deployed, and returned IT assets
- Ship hardware based on approved requests and monitor shipments as necessary
- Assist in the recovery of equipment from offboarded employees by:
- Coordinating with managers to gather necessary information
- Sending return boxes and FedEx labels to remote users
- Processing returned equipment following data retention and security protocols
- Execute peripheral deployments (such as monitors, keyboards, docking stations, etc.)
- Image and configure computers as needed
- Conduct onsite equipment pickups when required

We are searching for a PC Support Technician to enhance our IT Warehouse and Deployment operations. In this role, we focus on hardware fulfillment, inventory management, deployment, and asset recovery, ensuring compliance with our established IT policies and procedures. This position is primarily based in NORTH CHICAGO, IL, and offers a pay range of $20.00 - $22.00 per hour, along with various benefits including medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, and more.
