Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of eight years of relevant Information Technology experience
- Proven expertise in administering databases such as Oracle
- Experience with Oracle RAC/ASM is mandatory
- Familiarity with Linux or Windows operating systems
- Experience in administering Postgres databases is preferred
- Knowledge of Oracle Exadata platform is preferred
- Experience with cloud database platforms (e.g., Azure, OCI) is a plus
- Oracle certifications are advantageous
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align technical and functional needs in a critical database environment
- Oversee the identification, implementation, and maintenance of database administration processes and tools
- Support various IT functions through multiple versions of database systems including testing, reporting, and training
- Partner with development teams to enhance database code optimization and SQL tuning
- Provide timely diagnosis and resolution for infrastructure issues affecting applications
- Ensure compliance with corporate change management and security protocols
- Manage and prioritize backlog tasks to address outstanding issues promptly
