Requirements
Must:
- Strong experience with DWDM technologies
- Hands-on proficiency with various DWDM user interfaces
- In-depth understanding of optical components
- Ability to troubleshoot physical layer issues
- Strong command of Linux operating systems
- Comfort using command-line tools for diagnostic purposes
- Knowledge of Python programming for automation tasks
- Experience with automating configuration deployment and metrics collection
- Proactive approach to problem-solving within scalable optical infrastructures
Responsibilities
- Operate and scale large optical networks
- Diagnose and resolve network problems using command-line tools
- Automate deployment configurations and metrics collection
- Troubleshoot issues related to the physical layer of optical networks
- Collaborate with team members to enhance network reliability
- Contribute to the development of automation scripts in Python

Description
We are collaborating with a client in Seattle, WA to find a talented Network Optical Engineer who specializes in DWDM technologies. This is a temporary contract position offering competitive pay between $60.00 - $75.00/hr.
