Network and Wireless IT Project Manager

- Lead project management efforts on network infrastructure projects, including extensive low voltage cabling upgrades (fiber & copper), network switches, and wireless access points - Collaborate with external contractors to facilitate the deployment of wireless access points across multiple locations, coordinating approximately 30 external crews and 5-10 internal staff - Manage schedules, coordination between various entities, and address any issues that arise throughout the project - Conduct ongoing network upgrades, which includes cable remediation, the addition and replacement of access points, and switch upgrades, primarily conducted by internal staff with external support - Ensure all preparatory tasks are completed by teams and communicate effectively with building contacts about scheduled outages - Conduct site visits to monitor progress, prepare weekly status reports, and oversee budget adherence - Organize multiple weekly progress meetings (either virtual or in-person as necessary) with project teams, contractors, executive management, and stakeholders, while also engaging in work sessions with vendor project managers to address risks and explore process enhancements
