Requirements
Must:
- Extensive experience in Network Design and Implementation
- Proficient in evaluating network environments
- Strong background in network engineering, firewalls, routers, and switches
- Skilled in troubleshooting and wireless technologies
- Familiarity with CCNA and network design principles
- Experience with Fortinet hardware, specifically firewalls and switches
- Demonstrated ability in constructing and designing network architectures
- Ability to develop project plans and technology implementation roadmaps
- Excellent customer service skills, working closely with business and leadership
- Knowledge of Active Directory, Windows Server, Linux server, and backup solutions is a plus
- Proven leadership capabilities, mentoring junior and mid-level IT team members
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the network capabilities, architecture, engineering, and operations
- Evaluate the existing technical stack and products
- Make recommendations and assist in constructing a roadmap for necessary changes
- Foster a customer-centric mindset within the team
- Empower decision-making to enhance and modify the networking environment
- Collaborate with the IT group as required

We are seeking a talented Network Architect to join our dynamic team in Ann Arbor, MI. This is a Contract to Hire position, offering a pay range of $70.00 - $80.00/hr.
