Network Administrator (Active Directory)

- Provide network infrastructure services within a contractor-provided Network Operations Support Center (NOSC) - Support a range of network communications including data, voice, and video services at USACE locations both within the continental U.S. and outside - Monitor network performance and security 24/7, detect incidents, and resolve issues - Design, develop, and maintain communication systems across designated USACE locations - Analyze current bandwidth needs and propose scalable network solutions - Configure networks for security while ensuring efficient data flow - Manage network installations, movements, additions, changes, and removals - Ensure compliance with current technology standards and federal regulations for the USACE network infrastructure - Support customer requirement analysis to deliver suitable services and capacity to USACE - Offer assistance at both standard and non-standard locations - Implement operational design standards and enhance network interoperability and routing - Troubleshoot network issues to facilitate fix actions and escalation via ticketing processes - Plan and manage both analog and IP-based voice services, ensuring modern connections to Ethernet - Provide worldwide access while adhering to zero-trust environments - Coordinate with the USACE team for various government service processes relating to different communication technologies
