Requirements
Must:
- High School Diploma and 3+ years of relevant technical experience; additional relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree.
- Must hold DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE or equivalent) before the start date.
- Must be able to work in a shift environment as we operate 24/7.
- Experience in alarm surveillance, fault management, LAN maintenance, performance management.
- Proficiency with routers, switches, crypto devices, routing, DSN/DRSN, GVS, Promina, CISCO, MSPP, Optical Switching.
- General knowledge of both transport and IP network topologies.
- Must currently hold an active Secret security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct investigations into network and telecommunications system incidents.
- Identify and document network errors along with potential solutions.
- Analyze telecommunications alarms to pinpoint potential issues.
- Configure, test, install, troubleshoot, and maintain network devices like firewalls, cryptographic devices, and routers to optimize performance and security.
- Manage the configuration, testing, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of phone systems, including VOIP systems, voicemail, switches, call manager systems, and related telecommunications circuits.
- Oversee the configuration, testing, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of networking devices such as MSPP, Promina, ATM, and Optical systems.
