Requirements
Must:
- Extensive experience in network engineering and architecture
- Proficiency in automation and cloud technologies
- In-depth knowledge of networking solutions for AI, ML, and HPC workloads
- Expertise in designing low-latency and lossless networking fabrics
- Familiarity with technologies such as InfiniBand and high-speed Ethernet
- Strong skills in assessing performance, scalability, and resiliency in network designs
- Ability to create technical documentation, implementation guides, and validation plans
- Experience working with vendors like NVIDIA (Mellanox), Arista, Juniper, and Nokia
- Passion for working in complex, high-scale environments
- Location preference for candidates in CST or EST time zones, but we welcome applicants from all US time zones
Responsibilities
- Design and implement sophisticated, high-performance networking fabrics for AI and HPC
- Lead initiatives for front-end discovery and conduct technical workshops to evaluate network needs
- Architect intricate backend network topologies, including spine/leaf and Clos structures
- Collaborate with vendors to define and validate architectural designs
- Partner with compute and storage architects to enhance overall system performance
- Create detailed design documentation and thorough validation plans
- Facilitate proof-of-concepts, benchmarking, and performance assessments for AI networking
- Act as a technical escalation point during deployment and optimization
- Participate in ongoing security training and adhere to company policies
- Identify and escalate security risks to the Executive Leadership Team and support remediation efforts
