Requirements
Must:
- Extensive experience in network engineering and automation
- Proficiency in cloud technologies and network architecture
- Strong familiarity with InfiniBand and high-speed Ethernet technologies
- Expertise in designing networking fabrics for AI and HPC environments
- Proven track record in leading technical workshops and discovery initiatives
- Ability to architect complex backend networks including spine/leaf and fabric-based topologies
- Experience in documenting and validating architectural designs in collaboration with vendors
- Strong communication skills to partner with compute and storage architects
- Knowledge of security best practices and risk management processes
- Flexibility to travel for client engagements approximately 25-35% of the time
Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced networking fabrics for AI and HPC environments
- Lead front-end discovery processes and facilitate technical assessments for performance needs
- Architect backend network structures, focusing on spine/leaf and Clos topologies
- Collaborate with vendors like NVIDIA, Arista, Juniper, and Nokia to validate architectural designs
- Partner with compute and storage teams to ensure comprehensive system performance
- Develop thorough design documentation and implementation guides
- Support POCs, benchmarking, and performance testing of networking solutions for AI
- Act as a technical liaison during deployment and optimization phases
- Complete regular security training and adhere to company policies
- Identify security risks and contribute to remediation efforts actively
