Requirements
Must:
- In-depth knowledge of the Miser core banking system
- Advanced principles and practices of project management and workflow analysis
- Extensive understanding of the system development life cycle
- Comprehensive knowledge of operations, services, and activities related to advanced information systems
- Proficient in software applications development principles, Microsoft operating systems, and Office applications
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to exercise independent judgment
- Capability to interpret and apply standard software and system development requirements to functional design documents
- Proficient in performing application administration, including system files, parameter settings, software configuration tables, and database edits
Responsibilities
- Provide technical and project leadership as part of a team of core system analysts
- Analyze, develop, and document functional specifications for complex applications supporting Credit Union processes
- Assist team members in researching and developing strategic solutions for system performance issues
- Act as a subject matter expert to understand business requirements related to core financial systems
- Collect and review requirements from business stakeholders to deliver effective solutions
- Support end-user requests through maintenance and report writing
- Develop testing requirements for application programs and oversee change management in production
- Train and lead core system operations analysts, providing technical guidance and support
- Create procedure and training documentation to enhance team operations and support certification initiatives
- Collaborate with various team members across the organization during system evaluations and maintenance
- Set an example for colleagues in attitude, behavior, and work ethic
- Work flexible hours as needed to meet deadlines and handle system issues on call
- Perform additional duties as assigned
