Middleware Engineer, Java and API expertise

- Strong experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration - Proficiency in Red Hat JBoss Web Services and JBoss Core Services - Extensive background in building immutable images using Packer - Advanced understanding of containerization (Docker/OCI images) - Strong experience with Kubernetes, preferably Red Hat OpenShift - Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform - Skills in Helm for Kubernetes application packaging - Solid experience integrating Helm and Terraform workflows - Proficient scripting abilities (Bash, Python, or similar) for automation - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Git-based workflows, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar) - Understanding of container security and compliance controls - Knowledge of enterprise logging and monitoring solutions - Ability to design scalable and reusable middleware platforms - Strong grasp of microservices and service-oriented architectures - Experience designing high availability and resiliency deployment patterns - Preferred: Experience in regulated or large-scale enterprise environments - Preferred: Knowledge of OpenShift Operators and Kubernetes controllers - Preferred: Familiarity with service meshes and ingress technologies - Preferred: Red Hat certifications (RHCSA, RHCE, or JBoss-related) - Preferred: Experience in supporting multi-tenant Kubernetes platforms - Key attributes: Strong engineering discipline, excellent documentation and communication skills, collaborative mindset
