Requirements
Must:
- Over 10 years of comprehensive software development experience
- Strong practical experience with Guidewire and prior leadership roles
- Proven background in creating digital applications with Jutro and React
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Demonstrated capacity to lead development projects and mentor junior engineers
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Oversee the full software development lifecycle from design to support
- Design and implement Guidewire digital portals utilizing Jutro and React
- Set and uphold development standards and best practices while creating reusable UI elements
- Offer technical direction through code evaluations, mentoring, and support for development teams
- Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to clarify requirements, estimate workloads, and facilitate sprint planning
- Diagnose and resolve intricate technical challenges across front-end and Guidewire systems
- Guarantee high-quality product releases through unit testing and compliance with development guidelines
- Develop and keep current technical documentation, including designs, specifications, and process flows
- Assist with production deployments, upgrades, and continuous application enhancements
Description
We are seeking a Lead Guidewire Developer (Jutro) to spearhead our implementation efforts. This is a Contract to Hire position based in Chicago, IL, with a fully remote work option available. The pay for this role ranges from $75.00 to $90.00 per hour, and eligible benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, disability coverage, a health spending account, transportation benefits, and paid time off.
