Requirements
Must:
- Strong expertise in software and systems management
- Experience in developing automated solutions to enhance operational efficiency
- Proficient in monitoring system health and application availability
- Familiarity with performance tuning and fault analysis
- Ability to collaborate effectively with development teams for service improvement
- Experience in system design consulting and capacity planning
- Skilled in creating automated and sustainable systems
- Strong troubleshooting abilities for high-priority incidents
- Knowledge of best practices in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and escalations
Responsibilities
- Oversee the production environment by ensuring system availability and overall health
- Build and manage software and platforms for application infrastructure
- Enhance the reliability and quality of our software solutions
- Analyze metrics from various systems and applications for performance optimization
- Collaborate with development teams to enforce rigorous testing procedures
- Engage in platform management and capacity planning activities
- Automate processes to create efficient systems and services
- Strike a balance between rapid feature development and service reliability
- Promote self-healing patterns and resiliency within our systems
- Investigate priority incidents and lead post-mortem discussions
- Conduct analytics on past incidents to foresee potential issues and act proactively
