Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
- 2-4 years of software development experience with a solid grasp of Core Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, ORM Tools, Java Build tools, Junit testing, and Web Services
- 1 year of experience with large-scale applications
- Familiarity with healthcare, Medicaid, or Health Exchange systems is preferred
- Proficiency with Angular is a plus
- Ability to craft both basic and advanced SQL queries, ideally with DB2 SQL syntax including PL/SQL
- Strong analytical abilities and multitasking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Capability to identify and tackle issues promptly; adept at gathering and assessing information; skilled in devising alternative solutions; strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Transform requirements into robust software solutions, contributing to mission-driven government projects
- Collaborate with the Development Team to construct and maintain scalable, high-quality Java/J2EE applications
- Engage in the full software development life-cycle (SDLC), from conceptualization through design, documentation, and testing
- Ensure compliance with specifications and coding standards
- Analyze user/business requirements to effectively plan and design software systems that meet those needs
