Requirements
Must:
- Proficiency in Palo Alto and FortiGate firewalls
- Command-line experience in security environments
- Expertise in troubleshooting network security issues
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible and scripting in Python
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Understanding of network security standards and practices
- Demonstrated experience with physical to virtual infrastructure migrations
- Availability for nighttime deployments as required
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with network engineers to assess and improve the existing infrastructure
- Build and deploy new network security infrastructure
- Conduct maintenance and administration of current firewalls
- Follow deployment templates provided by the NetSec certification team
- Install, decommission, and refresh firewall systems
- Develop and implement standard configurations across the environment
- Troubleshoot escalated network security issues
- Install new rules and adapt policies from one platform to another
Description

This contract role offers a competitive pay range of $65.00 - $70.00/hr and flexible scheduling to accommodate deployments.
