Information Security Analyst - Cybersecurity Expert

- Serve as the Information System Security Officer (ISSO) for the CE control system Community of Interest Network Enclave (COINE). - Develop and maintain a thorough inventory of FRCS and its components. - Aid the CES personnel in implementing security controls and assessing the FRCS. - Register systems in the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) and provide necessary documentation to achieve Authority to Operate (ATO). - Identify potential intrusion attempts and compromises by analyzing relevant event details. - Support the implementation of mitigating controls and counter-measures as needed. - Enforce organizational security policies through monitoring and ensuring the integrity of networks, systems, and applications. - Conduct periodic and on-demand system audits, compliance checks, and vulnerability assessments. - Safeguard information system assets from unauthorized access or destruction. - Manage Computer Security Incident Response activities and collaborate with AFCEC for reporting incidents. - Act as a liaison for AFCEC/COOI, coordinating with local CES organization and base Communications Squadron for CE FRCS cybersecurity. - Provide operational support for AFCEC-owned network and server infrastructure, staying updated on relevant technologies.
