Requirements
Must:
- Experience in software and IT procurement is preferred over general procurement
- Proven background in negotiating IT or software contracts
- Familiarity with IT/software licensing models
- Understanding of IT asset management or software lifecycle processes
- Strong analytical mindset and keen attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
- 1.5-2 years of relevant experience is acceptable if skill set aligns
- Junior to mid-level candidates are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily operations of IT procurement involving software, hardware, and services
- Evaluate, source, negotiate, and acquire IT hardware, software, and services
- Prepare and manage IT contracts, including renewals and pricing agreements
- Support vendor negotiations and software licensing models
- Manage RFx processes by reviewing bids, quotes, and proposals
- Track procurement orders and oversee deliveries
- Handle tickets and requests through Jira
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess IT requirements
- Partner with a coordinator on hardware procurement
- Aid in the support of IT asset management policies, audits, and reporting
- Assist with software lifecycle management, including renewals and compliance
- Identify unused or underutilized licenses to promote cost efficiency
