Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor of Science degree; experience may substitute for education
- Over 10 years of relevant professional experience
- Extensive experience with VMware for virtualization, including deployment, management, and troubleshooting
- Strong expertise in storage technologies like SAN, NAS, and backup solutions
- Practical experience with Commvault for enterprise backup and recovery solutions
- Proficient in Windows and Linux server environments
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.)
- Knowledge of database management systems such as SQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL
- Understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewalls
- Strong grasp of IT security principles, compliance, and best practices
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and DevOps methodologies
- Hands-on experience with SLA/OLA management, Knowledge Management, Service Delivery, Continuous Service Improvement, and Problem Management
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Possess Q or TS level clearance (or equivalent) with the ability to obtain a Q level clearance within six months of hiring
- Must be eligible to maintain such clearance as a condition of employment
- Capability to identify technology opportunities and develop application strategies
- Proven skills in maintaining accounts, security, workflows, and secure systems connectivity
- Strong administrative, organizational, and people management skills
- Awareness of company policies, processes, and strategic goals
Responsibilities
- Directly manage systems professionals or through subordinates by providing leadership and training
- Serve as an advisor to team members to meet deadlines and resolve technical challenges
- Monitor system performance and implement enhancements for reliability and efficiency
- Develop and administer performance requirements and schedules
- Oversee the maintenance of accounts, security, and workflows
- Identify opportunities within information systems technology and develop strategies to leverage them
- Conduct hiring responsibilities as needed
