Requirements
Must:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in desktop support or related field
- Advanced knowledge of Windows OS with proficiency in at least one coding language
- Expertise in Microsoft Office 365 and standard application software
- Strong skills in troubleshooting PC hardware and mobile devices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively in a team
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Experience in conducting group training sessions, both in-person and online
Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete desktop computing environment for the client department
- Create and manage departmental units in Active Directory including group policy requirements
- Conduct proactive site visits to maintain up-to-date software versions
- Keep an inventory of computer hardware and peripherals; recommend replacements when necessary
- Install and coordinate repairs for various computing devices and peripherals
- Respond to emergency and routine technical requests, documenting all issues
- Provide user training on desktop equipment
- Collaborate with colleagues for seamless integration of network and software solutions
- Analyze, propose, and implement computing solutions for client department needs
- Mentor and train other support technicians
- Document technical projects including hardware and software testing
- Perform additional duties as required
