Requirements
Must:
- 3-5 years of experience in desktop or end-user support within enterprise settings.
- Strong proficiency in Windows 10/11 and familiarity with macOS in professional environments.
- Hands-on knowledge of Intune, JAMF, and Adobe Creative Cloud is preferred.
- Experience in supporting Microsoft Office 365, particularly Outlook.
- Knowledge of ITSM tools like ServiceNow, including asset tracking and SLA compliance.
- Basic networking understanding, including TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, and Wi-Fi, with capability to assist infrastructure teams on-site.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and customer service abilities to effectively collaborate with executives and users at all levels.
Responsibilities
- Deliver desktop and end-user support in a mixed environment of approximately 80% Windows and 20% macOS, addressing hardware, software, and operating system issues.
- Provide assistance for Windows environments overseen by Intune and macOS systems managed through JAMF, including support for Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Troubleshoot and offer support for Microsoft Office 365, focusing on Outlook and user productivity tools.
- Engage in IT asset management tasks including tracking, auditing, and updating assets in ServiceNow to ensure SLA adherence.
- Offer smart-hands assistance for the infrastructure team with on-site tasks related to networking, endpoints, and hardware.
- Serve executive users and a diverse clientele with professionalism, patience, and effective communication.
- Record incidents, solutions, and procedures in line with IT standards.
Description
We are on the lookout for a Desktop Support Technician with 3-5 years of experience in mixed Windows and macOS environments. This hands-on role involves direct end-user support, asset management, and frontline troubleshooting, as well as acting as smart-hands support for an outsourced infrastructure team. Our ideal candidate is technically savvy, patient, and comfortable assisting executives and users at all levels. This is a contract position based in Asheville, NC, with a pay range of $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
