Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of IT experience or equivalent education
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 (O365), Windows 10/11, Active Directory
- Experience with software-as-a-service (SaaS) applications
- Familiarity with VPN and endpoint security tools, such as disk encryption
- Knowledge of endpoint management tools, like SCCM, is a plus
- MacBook experience is advantageous
- Familiarity with ITSM platforms and self-service tools
- Exposure to automation or AI-assisted support tools is preferred
- Strong problem-solving abilities
Responsibilities
- Provide first and second level support for all issues via phone, email, and the ServiceDesk system
- Manage the ServiceDesk ticket queue according to departmental strategies, ensuring timely updates and resolution
- Create and maintain user accounts and access across systems such as Active Directory and Microsoft 365
- Contribute to Service Desk documentation, documenting solutions and updating knowledge base articles
- Promote self-service resources to assist users in resolving common issues independently
- Utilize AI-assisted tools and automation within the Service Desk to improve efficiency
- Identify and report recurring issues to senior team members for process improvement
- Clearly explain solutions to employees and customers
- Administer telephony and collaboration systems
- Build, image, and deploy laptops and support user environments
- Maintain equipment inventory records and assist with equipment relocation
- Coordinate and set up conference room and AV support requests
- Provide support to multiple business locations, both remote and onsite
- Participate in IT projects and system maintenance activities
- Assist with onboarding and administration of enterprise applications
- Perform additional duties as assigned

We are seeking a Service Desk Support Technician who will collaborate with employees and customers across various departments to provide exceptional support for software and hardware issues, ensuring alignment with our Information Technology teams goals. This position plays a crucial role in daily IT operations, facilitating the timely resolution of service desk requests while maintaining clear communication with users in both on-campus and remote settings. We support continuous improvement initiatives regarding IT service delivery and embrace evolving technologies, including AI-powered support tools, to enhance overall service efficiency and user satisfaction.
